Smoking policy

From 1 April 2007, DANHOSTEL introduced a smoking ban at all 96 hostels.

All rooms, corridors, lounges, the guest kitchen and reception are therefore no smoking. The no smoking rule applies to the staff and guests alike. The smoking ban has been implemented to ensure a pleasant environment for our guests during their stay at the hostels.

All of our hostels offer good outdoor facilities with garden areas, tables and benches, so that needy smokers can easily find a place to smoke outside. It is up to individual hostels to assess the need for special covered smoking areas.
